Mobile Websites

With the increase of Smartphone sales and the applications designed for these devices, the mobile web is one of the fastest growing areas for digital communication and engagement.

In fact, many studies indicate that mobile interfaces will become the dominant form factor for users accessing online content. It is therefore important for mutual ADIs to start down the path of providing members with access to information and functionality through mobile devices.

As a result, Brighton Consulting has commenced an ongoing mobile website project to develop and progressively enhance mobile websites. The project’s objective is to progressively build a mobile capacity for our clients that ensures they are able to grow ongoing online relationships with members that prefer to access their services via a mobile device.

The project has started with a version 1 mobile website, now being deployed by many of our clients.

Auto Diversion

Brighton's mobile websites work in conjunction with our client’s main public websites. When a customer accesses their credit union/building society’s URL via their mobile device they are automatically diverted to the mobile website. This provides a number of benefits:

  • they need only remember one URL
  • it integrates with the public website
  • allows for the sharing of content
  • it provides security enhancements

CMS Integration

The mobile website is fully integrated into Brighton Consulting’s customised CMS, meaning both websites are administered from the one place. This allows for:

  • the easy sharing of common content
  • integration of public website content/functionality across standard and mobile websites
  • turning the mobile website into a rich interactive environment
