Brighton Consulting, a secure digital marketing agency with an extensive track record in financial services, is looking for a talented and dedicated developer with a minimum of 2 years commercial experience.
The role involves:
- developing web-based applications
- security monitoring and reporting
- assisting with technical issues associated with website management
- system administration and technical support as needed
- Reporting to the IT & Security Manager you will be working with a 7 person design and development team.
The ideal candidate must:
- be a competent web developer (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with experience in database management systems (MySQL)
- have some experience configuring and maintaining web servers and basic networks.
- have some experience in client liaison and solution analysis
- You will need to clearly demonstrate:
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- well developed analytical and documentation skills
- a preference for working in a small, growing, informal environment
- interest in actively contributing to solution development
- a keen eye for detail plus the ability to prioritise and manage your time efficiently (i.e. excel under pressure).
- a preparedness to assume responsibility for projects and see them through to completion

An opportunity exists for a junior marketing administrator to join our Sydney office to work with a number of our clients in the banking/financial services sector.
This is a diverse role that will provide the successful applicant with a wide range of experience. The job involves:
- acting as the first ‘point of contact’ for enquiries, phone calls, etc
- extensive client contact – liaising with clients re online projects
- website campaign management
- working with in-house designers/developers to coordinate online marketing campaigns
- a range of general office administration including invoicing and accounts administration
